Bear

Bear is the wonderful quirky dog we have just helped rescue. He has been a challenge and a joy. Because of Bear I have learned so much already. He has been a group effort when in the past our rescuing was just limited to Frank and me. I have learned so much about rescue sources and the kindness of complete strangers. First off there's Sonya, a hostess at a local restaurant who was there the day Frank and half a dozen others rescued Bear from the middle of Biscayne Blvd. She has been collecting donations and helping see to it that his medical bills are being met. Then there is Judy, the vet nurse from Smiling pet's where he was taken upon his being recovered from his so called suicide attempt. She's been overseeing his care and checking on him regularly she has also taken on some of his medical bill herself. If it weren't for Judy the vet would have put him down. Then there's Bernadette. She heard of Bear thru Sonya's vet and has made food donations and given me so much info on where to go for help. These people have given me so much faith in the human race.
